Large Wedgwood tri-color jasperware covered vase, dating to the 19th century. Executed in white jasper with sage green and soft lilac applied relief decoration.
The classical ‘ urn ‘ form has two handles, ram-head mounts, floral swags, oval classical medallions, leaf borders and a domed removable lid with pointed finial. The decoration is finely modelled throughout, with a particularly attractive combination of muted green and lilac against the white jasper body.
Height approximately 26.5 cm / 10.4 in including lid.
