Italian Mid-Century Brass Three-Tier Plant Stand with Deer Motifs
Decorative three-tier plant stand made in Italy circa 1950-1960. Constructed from cast brass with three richly detailed openwork platforms, each centred by a hunting scene with deer. The decoration consists of scrolling foliage, flowers and rococo ornament, supported by tall brass columns and ornamental feet.
An unusual Italian mid-century piece with traditional rococo decoration.
Measures approximately 77 cm (30.3 in) high and 38 cm (15 in) wide.
Good vintage condition with natural patina, oxidation and traces of age and use.
