Set of four architectural plaster corbels dating to around 1900. Each corbel features a grotesque lion mascaron framed by a large volute inspired by the Ionic order.
These ornaments were originally intended for architectural use, such as beneath cornices, mantelpieces, shelves or decorative interior features.
