Black lacquered wooden tilt-top table with hand-painted Chinoiserie decoration. The circular top depicts figures in an oriental garden scene beneath a palm tree, surrounded by gilt detailing. Raised on a turned pedestal and tripod base with matching decoration.
The table retains its original wooden tilt mechanism, which functions correctly. The painted decoration and gilding show age-related wear, consistent with the table's history and use, adding to its authentic antique character.
