Vintage mid-century wall sculpture of a Native American woman, marked Alex MDGM 127, dating from around the 1960s. The portrait is modelled with a large feathered headdress, long braided hair and decorative jewellery, finished in black, silver, gold and warm earth tones. The beautiful sixties face, dramatic eye make-up and exotic portrait characters this retro period. The sculpture is fitted with a hanging loop at the back for wall display. Approx. 29 cm high and 20 cm wide. Good vintage condition with age-related wear and small losses to the painted surface. Carefully packed and secured shipping.
