French table lamp by Le Dauphin, Maurice Tournu, maison Dauphin, produced in France during the 1980s. The design combines a rectangular brass frame with a sculptural hand-blown glass apple and metal stem, a motif closely associated with the maker. Founded in the 1960s, Le Dauphin became known for decorative lighting that brought together glass and metal in distinctive sculptural compositions. This example retains its original Le Dauphin label and original red damask shade, completing the design as intended.
