Large original oil on canvas by Gennadij Ivanovic Duchanov (1922-2009), titled "Warm Evening" and dated 1961.
The painting measures approximately 87 × 75 cm and is in very good condition.
The work belongs to the post-war Soviet Realist tradition of the late 1950s and early 1960s. Rather than a formal political subject, Duchanov depicts an intimate scene of everyday life: a woman and child seated in a summer landscape.
The painting is signed and dated. An old label on the reverse identifies the artist, title and date.
