French Napoleon III plant stand featuring an inlaid marquetry top centred by a hand-painted ceramic tile depicting a riverside landscape with a fisherman, trees and a country house.
The square top is decorated with contrasting wood veneers and framed by a black lacquered edge. The wooden base stands on four shaped legs and is enriched with gilt metal mounts characteristic of the Napoleon III period.
