Uncommon set of two porcelain candlesticks from the Treasures from Atlantis series, produced by The Franklin Mint and designed by George de Hory (1908-1976).
Issued in 1989, this decorative series was created posthumously, using De Hory's name for its artistic concept.
The candlesticks feature an elegant spiral shell form on a richly detailed marine base with shells and starfish, finished in soft pearlescent tones. Sculptural, decorative, and well suited to a coastal, nautical, or eclectic interior.
