Antique four-panel Art Nouveau fireplace screen in brass with fine metal mesh, dating from circa 1900-1920. The brass frame is decorated with stylised iris flowers, long curved leaves and flowing botanical lines, characteristic of the Art Nouveau period.
The four hinged panels can be positioned around an open fireplace and folded when not in use. The brass has a warm natural patina and shows normal traces of age.
