Tenochtitlan was the capital of the legendary Aztecs. As mysterious as the lost city, the candlestick was created by the Italian designer Vittorio Locatelli. Red branches seem to grow from the base, and their ends are graced by candles. One possible design association could be South Pacific coral reefs.

The candlestick gives any room a magical touch and illuminates the whole room with a warm candlelight. The Tenochtitlan candlestick can be used as a table decoration for a large party or for a cozy dinner with the family.

Vittorio Locatelli., Born in 1962, the Italian first studied art and then obtained his doctorate at the Milan Polytechnic School of Architecture. He then taught there for a few more years. According to his studies, Locatelli moves on the boundaries of architecture and design.

Since the early 1990s, Vittorio Locatelli has been working with companies such as Driade, designing mirrors, candlesticks and a carpet for their range (in collaboration with William Bertocco). In addition, Locatelli designed several exhibition spaces for Driade, shops in different parts of the world, catalogs and decorations for the Milan Furniture Fair.

In addition to his product designs, Vittorio Locatelli also works in architecture. He built a shop/gallery in Hong Kong, a bar/restaurant in Seoul and a flat on Avenue Montaigne in Paris.
