The blade of damascus steel consists of 66 layers on top of a 10cr15mov steel core with 1.1% carbon. This technique, associated with these materials, gives the knife a pronounced strength and more than a slight flexibility, so that this knife is as ergonomic as possible. This damask process is carried out by alternating layers of hard and soft steel.
10cr14mov steel, hardness after tempering between 58 and 59 HRC, ensures a high hardness of the cutting edge and therefore a longer life. The handle is made of Pakka wood slats, which are hot pressed with resin, making it very resistant and hygienic.
