Houbolt, E.J.F. Houbolt, Eduard Houbolt geb Delft 1885- Den Haag 1954
Eduard Johannes Fredericus (Eduard) Houbolt geboren op 9 augustus 1885 te Hof van Delft (thans Gem. Delft) en overleden op 14 januari 1954 te Den Haag. Woonde en werkte in Den Haag, maar was ook tijdelijk in België en Frankrijk. Leerling van de Akademie voor B.K. te Den Haag (1905-1908). Schilderde, tekende en etste portretten, naakten, bijbelse voorstellingen, ook stillevens en landschappen, maar toch zeer bekend door zijn tekeningen van dorpsstraatjes en stadsdelen van Delft, Rijswijk en Den Haag. Hij was lid van de Haagse Schetsclub, en van de Nederlandse Kunstkring. Hij gaf les aan H.A. Kraij en F.H. de Meester. Een aantal werken van hem zijn in het bezit van Stichting Museum Rijswijk (Zuid Holland).
