Large heraldic German cast iron wall plaque by Grohmann Kunstguss, depicting the historic coat of arms of Württemberg. The crowned heraldic shield is flanked by a lion and stag, with the Württemberg motto "Furchtlos und trew", loyalty without fear, below.
Made as a substantial cast relief with a dark aged surface and visible patina. Marked Grohmann Kunstguss on the reverse. German, circa 1960-1970. Approx. 52 cm wide and 50 cm high.
