Antique Dutch Soester Mirror with Carved Crest and Bevelled Glass - 19th Century
Dutch Soester wall mirror made in Soest, Utrecht, the Netherlands, in the 19th century. These traditional Dutch mirrors were used as farmhouse and overmantel mirrors in old Dutch interiors. The wooden frame has a hand-carved crest with a central bird, leaves and scrolls. The shaped mirror is finished with a wide bevelled edge.
The mirror is in good condition with only minimal traces of age.
