Antique Dressing Table Ensemble with Sterling Silver Mounted Bottles, c. 1880-1930
Collection of four glass dressing table bottles assembled as a decorative ensemble. The group includes a large glass decanter with sterling silver collar and stopper, together with three toilet bottles fitted with silver tops in various designs.
The bottles date from the late 19th and early 20th century and show a combination of silver standards including 925 sterling, 950 and 900 and 835 silver. The glass features different forms and finishes, reflecting the styles of their respective periods.
The large bottle stands approximately 22 cm high and forms the focal point of the ensemble. The silver-mounted bottles complement each other well and create a balanced display for a dressing table, bathroom or cabinet.
