Antique Delft Tile: Hand-Painted Hare, c.1630

This Delft tile depicts a large scene of a hare . Its characteristic ears and agile body are well captured. It is of a very solid and thick quality, indicating that it was made around 1630. The scene is captured in an accolade shaped border and the corners are decorated with a 'Wanli' inspired motifs.
