Antique Delft Tile: 17th Century Dutch Shepherds Scene

This antique Delft tile was made around 1700 and depicts a somewhat romantic scene between two shepherds. of while their cattle (sheep) grazes in the background. The tile was most likely made in the Dutch city of Utrecht or Rotterdam and is well-painted. The glaze is of a magnificent quality. The tile is decorated with 'spider' corner motifs
