Antique Chinese carved wooden door panel dating around 1900. The dark wood panel is decorated with mother of pearl inlay depicting figures, architecture, trees, flowers and birds in a traditional Chinese landscape. The central scene is surrounded by hand-carved openwork with additional mother of pearl details along the frame and lower section.

Originally part of a Chinese cabinet or other piece of furniture, with the original projecting fittings still visible at the sides.
