Antique British Colonial Indian brass desk bell dating to circa 1900. This unusual example consists of a handbell resting in a matching pierced brass holder, both decorated with hand-engraved floral motifs. The warm patina and craftsmanship are characteristic of brassware produced during the British Colonial period in India.
Originally used as a desk, hotel or service bell in colonial offices, clubs, hotels or private residences.
