Vienna Porcelain Chamber Pot Alt Wien Hand Painted Figures Flowers Gilt
18th century porcelain chamber pot, maker the Imperial Vienna Porcelain Manufactory, decorated with hand-painted pastoral figures, scattered flowers, blue bands and gilt foliate ornament.
The underside bears the hand-painted blue Bindenschild associated with the historic Vienna porcelain factory, together with additional production marks. The decoration and marking are consistent with late 18th-century Alt Wien porcelain, probably dating from the Sorgenthal period, circa 1785
